JUST RETURNED!!!!

From where? From the Portland, Oregon antique and collectible show at the huge expo center. WOW!!!! What a show it was!!! This show is the largest in the whole northwest. Every possible thing that was ever created on God's green earth was for sale. If you are a collector like me you would have been in "hog heaven". There were vintage toys, jewelry, pottery, figurines, paper parafanalia, furniture, paintings and prints... you name it and someone had it for sale. Did I spend too much money? Of course!!
I found the most wonderful Hummel figure and just couldn't pass it up. I also indulged in a few other trinkets, an old cap gun from the 1950's along with a plastic bag of caps (never opened) to go with the gun. Also found a great old victorian paper weight,and some old cigarette package trading cards. I highly recommend this show so if you can make it to Portland the dates for 2009 are March 7 & 8, July 11 & 12 (this is the biggest one folks!), and October 24 & 25. Admission is $7 and parking is also $7 but well worth it. The place is HUGE and it's hard to see all of the show in one day, so be sure to plan for a weekend of fun.
